MR. LARRY CARUMBA worked in Saudi Arabia for 22 years. He dedicated all those years to honing his artistic skills to attain success despite never having formal education.

After a long journey of searching and experimenting in creating a unique form of art, he joined the International Art Exhibition in October 2010. He was the first Overseas Filipino Worker to join this prestigious art exhibition in the Middle East and the only Filipino to participate alongside respectable artists coming from South Korea, the United States, Switzerland, Bahrain, Egypt and Syria. His paintings were applauded by the Saudi art community. This was followed by the success of his first solo exhibit which he ventured in December 2010. In the succeeding years, he received numerous citations, awards and recognition by various art groups not only in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but internationally as well.

MR. CARUMBA’s paintings won the People’s Choice award at the 3rd International Art Exhibition in 2011. The following year, he was vested the Grand Prize and 2nd Place in a painting competition held in Al Khobar during the Philippine Independence Day celebration. He was also a finalist at the New York Art Takes Times Square competition and was featured in Times Square in the same year. His latest achievement was winning the Best in Show Artist of British Aerospace in 2013.

He was recently invited as an Honorary Guest in the 4th International Art Exhibition held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the most prestigious King Abdulaziz Science and Technology Research Center in Al Khobar.
