Ms. Omalsa was hired as Chief Nurse for Magrabi Hospital Jeddah from 2004 to 2008. She was promoted to Corporate Nursing Manager in October 2008, and is responsible for the 28 branches of Magrabi Hospitals & Centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman. She travels to all branches for standardizing of the Nursing Department. Ms. Omalsa was heavily involved in the Survey Process of any Magrabi Accreditation, like CIA- Joint Commission International. She was the Chief Nurse when Magrabi Hospital Jeddah Ranked #1 during the Quality hospital Accreditation by MRQP – Makkah Region for Quality Program. The first in Saudi Arabia. She is the founding and initiating chairman for the Magrabi International symposiums. She was also the International speaker for King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Jeddah, “Abbreviations: A Shortcut to Disaster” and King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital, Riyadh, “Intralase: The Bladeless LASER Technology’. She is always being invited as speaker in special events for different hospitals, during nurses’ week or quality week.
Ms. Omalsa was the first Filipina nurse to be a National Surveyor for all Hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for CBAHI – Central Board of Accreditation for Healthcare institutions. All hospitals in KSA must be accredited by CBAHI, as this is mandatory. She has surveyed several hospitals all over KSA, and a good image for all Filipino nurses that there is a Filipina surveyor. She was featured by Jess de Leon in Balitang Middle East for this achievement.
